Medicare Help Near Me...
Our Medicare Planning Team

Our trusted advisors at Medicare Planning of Dayton have over 50 years of experience helping folks navigate Medicare.

Chris Curtis

Chris Curtis

Chris has been helping people navigate Medicare since 2006 — 21 years and counting. Originally from Tipp City and a lifelong Miami Valley resident, Chris worked at General Motors on Needmore Road before a friend suggested he try insurance. He walked away from the idea at first, but as he puts it, "Between your wife and God, they have plans for you that you don't know about."

In 2016, Chris woke up at 3 a.m. with a vision — a Medicare planning center where people could come, learn about Medicare, and see all their options. Not just one direction, but an honest look at the good, the bad, and the ugly of every option based on each person's unique situation. That vision became Medicare Planning of Dayton.

What Chris learned early on is that putting someone on the wrong plan can seriously hurt their healthcare and cost them thousands. He took that lesson to heart. Today, he approaches every client the same way he would his own parents or family members — taking the time to understand their doctors, medications, and personal situation to find the right fit.

When he's not in the office, Chris enjoys golfing, camping, and spending time with his family. He and Jody have been married 28 years and together they've built something they're truly proud of.

Jody Curtis

Jody has been helping people with Medicare just as long as Chris — 21 years. Originally from Versailles, Ohio, she attended Wright State University and has called the Miami Valley home ever since. She and Chris met in 1997, married 28 years ago, and together they've built Medicare Planning of Dayton from the ground up.

As CFO, Jody handles all the books, budgeting, and the many things behind the scenes that make it all work. She meets with clients, co-hosts the Free Medicare Planning Dinners, and pitches in wherever she's needed. When you own a family business, you do it all.

Before Medicare, Jody served as a children's pastor for 5 years. Today, she's still active in children's ministry every Sunday and continues to give back by counseling and mentoring young mothers and people working through recovery programs. One of her superpowers is her love for children — as Chris puts it, "She loves kids almost too much." She has a heart for helping others — the kind of person who will lend you her car for a week without thinking twice.

Jody loves camping, spending time with friends and family, and her faith in Jesus is at the center of everything she does. As Chris puts it, "She's a much better version of me, and we love being a team together."

Tanner Curtis

Tanner Curtis

Tanner has been part of Medicare Planning of Dayton since he was old enough to get his license — earning it at just 18 years old. Now 26, he's grown up in the business and keeps the entire office running day-to-day. As Operations Manager, Tanner oversees daily operations, handles reporting, tracks margins and demographics, and helps the team understand what's working and what needs adjusting.

But Tanner is far more than a behind-the-scenes guy. He's on the front lines with clients every day — answering Medicare questions, handling service calls, and walking people through their options even when Chris and Jody aren't in the office. He understands all the facets of Medicare and does it the same way his parents taught him — the right way.

One of Tanner's greatest strengths is his ability to listen. He has a gentle heart and a real superpower for hearing what people are saying, understanding their situation, and making them feel at ease. It's a quality his dad truly admires about him.

Tanner is engaged to his fiancée Taylor, an ER nurse at Children's Hospital, and they're excited about their new life together. He recently bought his first home and when he's not in the office, you'll find him and Taylor playing soccer and volleyball almost every weekend. He also loves camping and hanging out with friends.

Having Tanner in the business means Medicare Planning of Dayton isn't just a family business today — it's a family business for the long haul.

Emma Curtis

Emma is the gatekeeper of Medicare Planning of Dayton — and she takes that role seriously. At 23 years old, she's been with the business for 3 years and does a fantastic job keeping the office moving every single day. From answering the phones and scheduling appointments to writing thank you notes and making sure everything behind the scenes is taken care of, Emma keeps it all running smoothly.

She's also the creative force behind the scenes — handling all the video editing for the company, including Facebook videos and commercials. If you've seen Medicare Planning of Dayton on screen, Emma is the one who made it look good.

She has a warm, welcoming presence that clients notice right away. When you call Medicare Planning of Dayton, Emma is likely the first voice you'll hear — and she makes sure every person feels valued from the very first conversation. She's also learning the ins and outs of Medicare planning, following in the family's footsteps.

Emma is engaged to her fiancé Colin, and they're excited about their new life together. Outside the office, Emma loves singing in the praise and worship band at church, and her faith in Jesus is at the heart of who she is.

The Curtis family never planned on this being a family business, but having Emma on the team has been a real blessing. As Chris says, "It's actually made us all closer as a family. We had to learn how to work together even when we don't want to — and it's been absolutely wonderful."
