Medicare — The Right Way

Most agents chase enrollments. We build relationships. Here's how we do Medicare the right way — and why it matters for your situation.

Your Medicare Puzzle Is Different From Everyone Else's

A group of people sit at long tables in a room while a speaker stands at the front .

Every person's Medicare situation is unique. Your doctors, your medications, your health needs, your budget — they're all different from your neighbor's. That's why 'just get on my plan' is terrible advice. We sit down with you, look at YOUR puzzle pieces, and put them together the right way.

THE RIGHT WAY vs. THE WRONG WAY

The Wrong Way ❌ The Right Way — MPD ✅
Call an 800 number from a TV ad Sit down face to face with a certified advisor
Talk to a call center who doesn't know your name Work with the same advisor every time — Chris, Jody, or Tanner
Get pushed into one plan because that's what they sell See ALL your options compared side by side
Never hear from them again after enrollment Lifetime service and support — we review your plan every year
They don't get paid unless they sign you up or switch your plan Every company pays us the same — so we only care about finding the one that fits your Medicare puzzle
No local office — good luck finding them Walk into our office anytime — 2460 Dayton-Xenia Rd, Beavercreek
Generic advice from a script Personalized Medicare planning based on YOUR situation
They collect your information just to sell it or pass it along We only ask for your contact info when you're sitting with us — and it stays with us
You don't even know you switched plans until it's too late We explain everything before you sign anything
They charge hidden fees or "admin costs" We NEVER charge a fee. Ever. Insurance companies pay us — you don't.
Your agent got licensed 6 months ago and is learning on the job 50+ years of combined Medicare experience — Chris (21 years), Jody (21 years), Tanner (~10 years)
Your agent "also does" auto, home, and life insurance — Medicare is a side gig We do ONE thing — Medicare. That's it. That's all we do. Every day.
Your agent may leave the agency — and your file stays with the company, not with your agent We're not going anywhere. This is our family business. Your advisor is your advisor for life.

Why Does It Matter That We ONLY Do Medicare?

Because Medicare is complicated — and it changes every year. The rules change. The plans change. The drug formularies change. The networks change.

If your agent also sells auto insurance, home insurance, life insurance, and business insurance — how much time do you think they spend keeping up with Medicare?

We spend ALL of our time on it. It's the only thing we do. That means when you sit down with us, you're getting someone who lives and breathes Medicare — not someone who looked it up last week.

Medicare the Wrong Way — What They Don't Want You to Know

You've seen the TV commercials. You've gotten the phone calls. Maybe you've even gotten a knock on your door.

They all say the same thing: "You may be eligible for more benefits!" or "Call now to see if you qualify!"

Here's what they're not telling you:

  • They don't get paid unless they sign you up for a plan — or switch you to a different one. That's how the system works. If they don't make a change, they don't make money. So what do you think happens when you call?
  • They push you into a plan. Fast. They don't ask about your doctors. They don't look at your medications. They don't care about your personal situation. They need to get you enrolled and move on to the next call.

And here's the worst part:

Some of them will switch your plan without you even knowing it. You think you're just "reviewing your benefits" — and the next thing you know, your doctors aren't covered anymore. Your prescriptions cost more. And the person who did it to you? You don't have their phone number. You don't know their name. They're gone.

This happens to thousands of people every year. It's not a scare tactic — it's the reality of how the Medicare sales industry works.

90% of them don't offer lifetime support. Once you're enrolled, you're on your own. If something changes — if your doctor leaves the network, if your medications change, if your costs go up — you have nobody to call.

That's Medicare the wrong way.

Medicare the Right Way — How We Do It

We do things differently. Always have. We're a family-owned Medicare planning center — run by Chris and Jody Curtis, right here in Beavercreek, Ohio. When you come to us, you sit down with a real person. Face to face. In our office.

Here's what that looks like:

One Icon

You call us or request an appointment. No pressure. No sales pitch. Just a conversation.

Two Icon

We sit down together — face to face. We look at YOUR doctors, YOUR medications, YOUR health needs, YOUR budget. Every piece of your Medicare puzzle.

Three Icon

We compare every option side by side. Not just one plan. Not just one carrier. Every option available to you — so you can see the differences for yourself.

Four Icon

You choose the plan that fits YOUR situation. We explain everything. We answer every question. You don't sign anything until you understand exactly what you're getting.

Five Icon F

We handle all the paperwork. You don't have to call anyone. You don't have to fill out confusing forms. We take care of it.

Six Icon

We stay with you. Every year, we review your plan. If something changes — your doctors, your medications, your costs — we sit down with you again and make sure you're still on the best plan. That's lifetime service and support. That's how it should be.

3 Questions to Ask Before You Trust Anyone With Your Medicare

Before you sit down with any Medicare agent — including us — ask them these three questions. The answers will tell you everything you need to know.

  • Question 1: Do you get paid the same no matter which plan I choose?

If the answer is no — or if they dodge the question — that's a red flag. It means they have a financial incentive to steer you toward one plan over another. At MPD, every insurance company pays us the same. We have zero reason to push you toward anything. The only thing that matters is what fits YOUR situation.

  • Question 2: Will you still be here next year if I need help?

Most agents don't offer lifetime service. They enroll you and move on. If something changes — your doctor leaves the network, your prescriptions change, your costs go up — you're on your own. At MPD, we review your plan every year. We're here for the long haul. That's what lifetime service and support means.

  • Question 3: Is Medicare the only thing you do?

A lot of agents sell auto, home, life, and business insurance — and "also do Medicare." That's like going to a general contractor to fix your plumbing. We do one thing: Medicare. That's it. Every day. It's all we think about, all we study, and all we do. 50+ years of combined experience — focused entirely on Medicare.
