 We have compared all 80 Medicare advantage plans for next year and the good news is Anthem still looks to be the best on top.

. We recommend that you stay on it for next year.

. If you need or want to switch plans, just remember we don't work for anthem, we can help you with any company out there.

. You will get new cards around Thanksgiving through the middle of December for next year. If there are two people in your household on Anthem they will not necessarily come in the mail together.

. NETWORK - We did something a little different this year when comparing plans and decided to truly see how big the networks are. We chose 53 doctors and specialists from our clients files, 10 area hospitals, and even the 4 specialty (second opinion) hospitals in Ohio.

Anthem had all 53 out of 53 doctors and specialists in network. 

Not one besides Anthem, out of the top six companies could say they had all 53. The next 2 companies had 43 doctors, and the last two companies which have really great benefits on paper, only had 20 out of 53 doctors in network. 

Anthem was also the only company that had all four specialty second opinion hospitals in Ohio. University of Cincinnati, Cleveland clinic, the James Cancer institute, and Ohio State hospital.

NETWORK REALLY MATTERS WHEN IT COMES TO THESE PLANS!

It doesn't matter what your benefits really are, if you don't have a good Network you don't have a good plan...

. Please do yourself a favor and do not pay attention to the TV ads, the telemarketers, the Facebook ads, etc.

This is the time of year that everybody sounds like they have the best plan.
